About

Savio is a designer, artist and educator with a research interest in the creative act based on beliefs. Through his projects, lectures and writings, he explores the intersection of design with human nature; perception; consumerism and human development.

His motivation is to do good, and believes in designing meaningful solutions for the development of persons. He has done works in the London, Essen, Dubai, Chennai, Seoul, Singapore and Illinois,  thus gathered a diverse range of experiences from companies, design consultancies and academia, including curating workshops, self-initiating and leading exchanges with multiple institutions.

Teach, conduct research, and engage new audiences and partners to expand the scope of perspectives currently offered in the Industrial Design program at the University of Illinois.
After the success of the first two semesters, was given the responsibility of creating syllabi to teach two classes in Sping 2024,  ensuring the objectives, deadlines and overall quality of teaching is kept consistant across its different sections.
